Child Star Mackenzie Phillips Slept with her Father?
On today’s Oprah child star Mackenzie Phillips revealed that she had sexual relationship with her father for almost 10 years. The incestuous relationship begin when she was a child and did not end until she was almost 30 years old. The star also revealed her life long abuse of drugs and alcohol.
She also revealed that she became pregnant and did not know if the child were her father’s child or her long time boyfriend who she was in a relationship with at the time. She later went on to abort the child for fear that the child may be from her father.
As shocking as this story is, we comment Mackenzie Phillips for telling her truth, we hope that her story reaches out to others in the same horrific situation. We wish Mackenzie Phillips well and we hope that her revelation helps her to being the healing process.
